the s.i.g.i.t (super insurgent group of interperence talent)
Band yang mengusung garage rock dengan tampilan seadanya yang dibentuk ketika zaman sekolah setingkat SMP antar teman saling bertemu diantaranya yaitu Rekti, Adit dan Acil yang kemudian membentuk sebuah band yang mengusung ciri khas dengan sound dari mulai The Stone Roses sampai dengan Led Zeppelin, dimana personil band yang selama itu ada saling silih berganti, ada yang datang ada yang pergi, dengan, kemudian pada tahun 2002, Farri datang ke dalam band tersebut, dengan kemampuannya dalam “recording dan arranging” dimulailah mereka untuk menciptakan lagunya mereka.
Band tersebut yang dikenal sebagai THE. S.I.G.I.T (The Super Insurgent Group Of Interperence Talent), yang pernah tampil dalam salah satu acara di stasiun televise swasta nasional ini kemudian mereuskan kiprahnya dalam membuat mini album dengan recording SPILLS Record, yang diberi judul “SELF TITTLED”, dengan single pertamanya yang berjudul “SOUL SISTER”, menjadi
hits di radio-radio kota Bandung dan Jakarta yang kemudian dianugerahi sebagai “The Hottest Rock N Roll Band” oleh majalah MTV TRAX, Selain itu juga dengan masuk sebagai salah satu OST. Catatan Akhir Sekolah dengan melalui single “Did I Ask Your Opinion?” menjadi saalh satu jalan untuk menjadi single pertama yang di-“broadcast” oleh MTV Indonesia. Tidak lama kemudian mereka meninggalkan SPILLS Record untuk kembali pada “roots” semula dengan membuat demo sendiri dan “low budget” serta “DIY Ethics” yang tetap menjadi suatu ideal bagi mereka.
Sekitaran tahun 2005, menjadi tahun yang begitu berat dikarenakan dengan ”budget” yang dimiliki belum memenuhi untuk melakukan “recording” walaupun dibantu oleh para “gigs” yang menjadi pasukan mereka atau biasa disebut insurgent army, akhirnya mereka membuat beberapa material lagu yang memiliki muatan yang kuat.
Keseriusan mereka akhirnya terjawab sekitaran tahun 2006 dengan adanya tawaran “recording dari label local yang bersifat independent yaitu FFWD Records yang memiliki konsentrasi dalam merilis album yang bermuatan pop act seperti mocca, club 8, akhirnya mereka membuat album dibawah label FFCUTS Records yang merupakan naungan dari FFWD Records, sebuah divisi yang berkonsentrasi pada musik ROCK. Kemudian album mereka “launch” apda tanggal 26 Desember 2006 dengan hasil “sold out”. Kemudian kabar terakhir yang diketahui mengenai perkembangan mereka sekitaran April 2007, empat track “EP” tealah dirilis di Australia diatas bendera CAVEMAN!Records & Reverberation Dist. Dimana “EP” ini merupakan salah satu pembuka bagi THE.S.I.G.I.T. terhadap para pencinta ROCK di Australia sebelum merilis FULL LENGTH ALBUM dibulan Juni 2007, Dimana salah satu singlenya dengan tittled “BLACK AMPLIFIER” mendapat sorotan media dari Australia dan U.K serta beberapa band internasional seperti Dirty Pretty Things, Soledad Brothers & Mando Diao serta Jet memperhatikan THE. S.I.G.I.T. memiliki nilai potensial untuk menjadi band yang lebih go internasional dari kawasan asia. THE.S.I.G.I.T. yang formasinya terdiri dari Aditya Bagja Mulyana, Farri Icksan Wibisana, Rektivianto Yoewono, dan Donar Armando Ekana memiliki “discography” diantaranya yaitu THE SIGIT (EP) – SPILLS ECORD – 2004, VIDEO READY O – DVD compilation kids of riots substreo – 2005, OST.
